The calligrapher Abdullah Al-Amassi

 There is not much information about the life of Abdullah Amassi, a relative of Sheikh Hamdallah, son of the calligrapher Jalal Amassi, except that he is from Amassi and he got his endorsement from his father. Although he died in Istanbul, where he emigrated at the invitation of Sultan Bayezid II, his date and death are unknown. About the date of his last work AH 924 / AD. It is reported that Abdullah Amasi, who is understood to be alive in 1518, was a Sufi Mashrab, who spent his life writing and suffering, and was eighty years old when he died. Abdullah Amasi, who wrote in a sapphire style in the footsteps of his father at the beginning, tried to create a unique dialect by being influenced by Sheikh Hamdallah, but it remained a dry valley in front of Sheikh Hamdallah's style.
