Calligrapher Hajj Ahmed Kamel

Haji Ahmed Kamel Effendi, born in Istanbul in 1862 AH, and his father, Haji Suleiman, learned calligraphy from Haji Suleiman. He was nicknamed “the great calligraphers” because he was a contemporary of the great calligraphers. Haji Ahmed Kamel Effendi was distinguished by the strength of the structures of writing the third and the paper of calligraphy and his great abilities to control and exploit the void and the way to treat it.
In 1894 he moved to the position of Head of the Ministry's Registrar Department, and in 1909 he served as Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Defense, and despite his keenness on fair work, he did not stray too far. From Arabic calligraphy because of his great fame, the Crown Prince of Egypt, Prince Muhammad Ali Pasha, invited him to do the writing work for his palace overlooking the Nile in the Manial district of Cairo. Ahmed Kamel replied and spent his time in writing, analysis, and training, which made him a benefactor, and Islamic art is rich in thousands of creative works.
And the calligrapher Ahmed Al-Kamil wrote at the end of his days, and he was in the official field writing the lines of the Diwan and Al-Jali Diwan, and the patch in patents, publications, treaties, and ratifications, in addition to the hard work related to education.
